Welcome to HamGear.eu! There are many recources on the internet where you can find information about radio amateur equipment, but almost none of them are going into all the specs and details. Looking for scattered information might be fun to some, but not everyone has the patience to dig deep into all the links they encounter in their search engine.

This website will try to do just that for you. As a result, building this website will be a slow, painstaking process, but hopefully worth the trouble. In the beginning, we will focus on just a few brands: Alinco, Icom, Kenwood and Yaesu. Other brands will be added later. Every brand will have its own subdomain, which makes navigating easier.

As I am a Yaesu fan, this brand will be the first to be added to the database. No discrimination towards other brands here, it just makes life easier - for a while, at least. It also gives me a chance to figure out the best way to present all available information.
